Early Stage 1 (or Kindergarten) is the first year of formal schooling for your child. It is an important year where students will be introduced to literacy and numeracy and develop skills in all key learning areas.

Geography

This semester, students are studying the topic 'People live in places'. They are learning about significant places in the community and how they are important to different groups of people.

Students in K/1C used LEGO and blocks to make models of their favourite special place.

Science and Technology

Students are learning that objects are made from different materials. They made their own binoculars and went on a scavenger hunt around the school to find objects made from wood, plastic, metal, glass and fabric.
