Book Week

Date: 4th November 2025

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Kindergarten orientation days

Date: 5th November 2025 and 12th November 2025

Kindergarten orientation days provide the 2026 Kindy students an insight into our school life at Dawson Public School. Students will visit the Kindy classrooms and participate in a range of school readiness activities.

P&C meeting

Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month in the staffroom (starting at 9.00am). Parents and carers are welcome to attend.

Our P&C hold a variety of stalls throughout the year such as Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls.

Yearly Sports Carnivals

Students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of sport carnival days including swimming, athletics and cross-country carnivals.

Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day is a special time to celebrate the love, wisdom, and joy that grandparents bring into our lives. It’s a chance to honor their stories, their guidance, and the irreplaceable role they play in family traditions.

Grandparents are celebrated and invited to share morning tea on a special day each year.
